HD Flowtech OGU 2026 Exhibition Booth

As Central Asia’s energy landscape undergoes a profound transformation, Shanghai Huadian Valve Group (HD Flowtech) is proud to announce its successful participation in OGU 2026 (The 28th Uzbekistan International Oil & Gas Exhibition). Held at the state-of-the-art CAEx center in Tashkent, this exhibition serves as a cornerstone for our strategic expansion into the CIS energy market.

Connecting with Uzbekistan’s Industrial Modernization

Uzbekistan’s commitment to modernizing its thermal power generation and gas processing capacity has created a critical demand for high-end flow control technology. At OGU 2026, the HD Flowtech team engaged with over 200 industry delegates, ranging from local energy ministries to international EPC giants. Our mission was clear: to demonstrate how our Project Engineering Execution model can solve the unique challenges of the regional infrastructure—from managing sour gas compositions to ensuring performance in extreme continental climates.

API 600 Gate Valve Highlight

Showcase: Reliability in Severe Service Conditions

The centerpiece of our exhibit was the high-pressure API 600 Gate Valve, finished in our signature industrial yellow. This valve is engineered specifically for the main steam lines of modern thermal power plants. In discussions with plant operators at the booth, our engineers emphasized the importance of Stellite hard-facing on seating surfaces, which prevents premature erosion under high-velocity steam flow—a vital feature for reducing downtime in Uzbekistan’s aging power grid retrofits.

HPHT Thermal Power Solutions

Our gate and globe valves are rated for Class 2500 service, capable of handling temperatures up to 600°C. These are designed to integrate seamlessly into new supercritical power units.

Natural Gas Pipeline Integrity

Leveraging API 6D standards, our ball valves on display featured advanced sealing technology to ensure zero-leakage in the region’s expanding gas transmission corridors.

Technical Standards: Bridging API and GOST Requirements

One of the primary advantages we presented at OGU 2026 was our deep expertise in standard harmonization. Many projects in Uzbekistan require a blend of international API/ASME standards and legacy GOST requirements. HD Flowtech provides the technical bridge, offering equipment that is dual-compliant and supported by localized technical dossiers in Russian and English.

Our presence at CAEx Tashkent allowed us to witness firsthand the rapid pace of the “New Uzbekistan” energy policy. It is evident that the market is shifting toward localized support and higher documentation standards—areas where HD Flowtech’s execution model excels.

The HD Flowtech Advantage: More Than Hardware

Following the themes of our previous project execution blogs, we reinforced that our value proposition in Uzbekistan is built on three pillars:

  • Pre-Project Consultation: Helping local engineers select material alloys (WCB, LCB, CF8M) that resist the specific chemical profiles of local gas fields.
  • Localized Documentation: We provide full technical passports in Russian, facilitating smooth customs clearance and regulatory oversight.
  • On-Site Supervision: Our commitment doesn’t end at the port of Tashkent; we offer supervision services for installation and initial commissioning.
